Pollinator Pastures

Just like us, pollinators need a well balanced diet.

For pollinators, a well balanced diet means a variety of flowers through spring, summer and fall.

Pollinators that do not have access to a well balanced diet can have weakened immune systems and more easily succumb to disease and starvation.

Unfortunately a well balanced diet is getting harder to find.

Living in Saskatchewan, Canada, we have a deep understanding that modern farming practices are needed in order to feed our growing world population.

However, because of our experience as beekeepers, we know that as more and more land is cultivated, pollinators are having an increasingly difficult time finding areas with healthy forage, especially when crops do not bloom.

Pollinator Pastures help significantly with this problem.

Pollinator Pastures are areas of land that are dedicated to providing a high quality variety of blossoming plants as forage for both honeybees as well as wild pollinators.

However, Pollinator Pastures are costly to develop.

In order to substantially contribute to a region’s pollinators, Pollinator Pastures must be sufficiently large.

This requires significant investments of both time and money.

We plant Pollinator Pasture.

As lifelong wildlife enthusiasts and beekeepers for over 20 years, we have the passion, the knowledge, and the ability to develop Pollinator Pastures.
