Bannock is a traditional indigenous bread, it's often baked or fried, but when it's fried in butter over an open fire, then topped with infused Sun River Honey, it blew us away!
This has turned into a summertime favourite around the campfire. We bring the dough out to the fire in a ziplock bag for easy handling. We put a small pan on the coals, add some butter, then fry the dough.
The combination of butter, dough and topped with the sweetness from an infused Sun River Honey can't be beat around the campfire. Indoors this one could be done in a pan on the stove.
