Sara's savory meatballs keep the ingredient list short and let Chipotle Sun River Honey do the work as a glaze or dipping sauce. Serve them as an appetizer, or make them the main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup Chipotle Sun River Honey
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine the beef, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Form the mixture into about 60 meatballs, each about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs evenly on a baking tray. For easier cleanup, line the tray with parchment paper first.
- Bake on the center rack for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through. Cooking time may vary with meatball size.
- If desired, loosen and turn the meatballs midway through cooking so they brown on more than one side.
- Place the cooked hot meatballs in a serving dish and drizzle Chipotle Sun River Honey over them.
- Toss to coat before serving, or serve the Chipotle Sun River Honey as a dipping sauce on the side.
