Turmeric/Ginger Infused Sun River Honey on Acorn Squash with fish and mexi-fries

Turmeric Ginger Honey Glazed Acorn Squash

Pin

Sara's acorn squash recipe is a simple way to brighten a supper side dish with Turmeric Ginger Honey. The honey melts into the hot squash after cooking and turns it into an easy turmeric-ginger glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 small acorn squash
  • 2 tsp Sun River Honey Turmeric Ginger Honey

Directions

  1. Cut the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds.
  2. Place the squash open-side down on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with wax paper and microwave for 10 minutes, or until fork tender. Microwave times may vary.
  3. Remove from the microwave, turn the squash over, and cut it into quarters.
  4. Pierce the flesh of the squash repeatedly with a fork.
  5. While the squash is plated and still hot, spread 1 tsp Turmeric Ginger Honey into the hollow of each acorn squash quarter so the honey melts into the fork piercings.
  6. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Microwave times may vary depending on the microwave and the size of the squash.
