Sara's Turmeric Ginger Honey muffins are a family favourite with the grandkids. They bake up bright yellow, lightly sweet, and easy to serve on their own or with a little butter and honey on top.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose white flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup Turmeric Ginger infused Sun River Honey
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Line 12 muffin cups with large or jumbo paper muffin cups for easier cleanup.
- Measure and blend the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Gently melt the butter in the microwave in 20-second increments until melted, about 40 to 60 seconds total.
- Lightly grease the inside of a 1/2 cup measuring cup with oil or butter so the honey releases more easily.
- Measure 1/2 cup Turmeric Ginger infused Sun River Honey into the greased measuring cup, then add it to the melted butter and stir until thoroughly blended.
- Lightly beat the egg and milk together with a fork.
- Add the milk, egg, and honey-butter mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring just until nicely blended.
- Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full and bake on the center rack for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack before storing or freezing.

I received my order two days ago with my free jar of turmeric/ginger and my dipper along with the samples variety box. We have tried the cinnamon, yummie. I also tried the turmeric/ginger on my toast this morning. It was great, infused with flavours from both spices so you could taste them surrounded with the sweetness of the smooth creamy honey. I didn’t know if I would like this mixture however I definitely loved it. Going to try in my coffee tomorrow morning. Thank you for easy ordering and fast delivery. i made these and made my own ginger turmeric honey i enjoyed them so much added extra ginger to the recipe and some chopped pecans delicious!💕

I guess you know already I have revived 3 orders so far 2 of them tester bottles with 1 lg jar I forgot I had ordered both cinnamon lg jars wanted Lemonbut am sharing with friends and family who are very interested. When I order next could I ask for a couple of the cards asI have been asked for them.I myself love the turmeric /ginger and also so far cinnamon will be trying all flavours except chipotle as it sure is spicy Thanks for this beautiful tasty treat I will be baking with lots of goodness
