ENERGY GELS THAT CALM YOUR STOMACH
New Packaging!
You asked and we listened!
We are thrilled to announce new packaging. The Energy Gel Variety Packs have all transitioned to the new packaging.
However, while we work through inventory, the Single Flavour 24 count boxes will slowly transition to the new packaging. At this time you may receive old packaging, new packaging, or a blend depending on what flavour you choose and where we are at with the transition.
Single Energy Gels are also transitioning.
Again, the Variety Packs have FULLY TRANSITIONED to the new packaging.
Thank you for understanding while we transition to this exciting new format!
Gentle on your stomach. We know because we've lived it.
Shannon was a member of the Canadian Women's Fencing Team.
The team travelled all over the world representing Canada at the highest levels of elite international fencing.Ā
World Cups in fencing are multi-day competitions and nutrition management is vital to keep
your energy levels stable throughout the competition.
Shannon always got horrible stomach cramps
by the end of the day from all of the sugar in the products she was using.
Being a beekeeper, our mom (Sara) suggested raw honey might digest easier, therefore it might be easier on Shannon's stomach.
So Shannon took a jar of raw crystallized honey from our family honey farm (Sun River Honey)
to her next World Cupā¦the difference was unbelievable!
She used a spoonful of raw honey before matches and throughout the day. She had tons of stable energy all day long, but the biggest differenceā¦it didn't upset her stomach!
She had all of the energy, with none of the sugar cramps!
She started carrying a jar of honey and a spoon in her bag to every World Cup! It wasn't efficient packaging, but it was what we had back then.
But why was it SO much better? So we researched... a LOT.
šIt turns out that the active enzyme in our honey (alpha-amylase) is actually a digestive enzyme added by the bees. That enzyme breaks down sugars for digestion.
šOur honey has more glucose than most other honeys. It is essentially a unique 1:1 glucose to fructose ratio which is proven to be easier on the stomach than the 2:1 in most sugar based energy gels.
šToday, we've gone further and we infuse soothing and tasty ingredients like lemon and organic ginger to settle your stomach even further!
šUnlike liquid honey, we use our proprietary process to naturally create a soft gel-like consistency with our honey. Never gritty, completely shelf stable, active enzymes, and always smooth and tasty.
Today we package our energy gels in convenient pouches.
The feedback from other athletes has been phenomenal.
We are now fueling athletes in more sports than we could have ever imagined!
And it's beautiful to thinkā¦it all began on a small family honey farm, with a mom helping her daughter become one of the best in her sport.
Thanks mom! :)

Type 1 Diabetics
This was completely driven by our customers. Customers with Type 1 diabetes started using our honey gels for low blood sugar! They reported that it brings their levels back up faster than anything else!
Hockey, Soccer, Basketball Players
Pro/Am athletes in various sports reached out very quickly and started using our honey gels as well. They no longer have to play on an empty stomach because our honey gels are so easily digested and they find they've got WAY more energy all game long.
Mid-afternoon Boost
Existing customers who buy our jars of infused honey started using our honey gels as a mid-afternoon boost when they're on the go. They knew they loved our honey, but now they could take it with them. The gels don't give you the jitters like a cup of coffee. They bring your blood sugar back up and help you get through that mid-afternoon low that we all know too well!
Combat Sports
From wrestlers like Katie here, to fencers like our very own Shannon, this was the original use of our honey as a sports fuel. Full day competitions require you to get in and out of the zone all day long. A stable fuel that doesn't cause cramps or nausea is vital. Take 1 or 2 gels between matches and keep your energy levels up all day; WITHOUT the stomach issues.
